Alpha's Second Chance

MADELEINE

I am so nervous, and the plane is about to land in America. Dad was still in France with Noah's dad, King Logan. But Noah was here, so was Mom, Blaise, Juliette, and Beau, and we were all going to the royal pack. Here, Mom and my siblings will wait for Dad to come with the packmembers who have chosen to go with him here to America.

The bump when the wheels on the plane hit the ground pulls me out of my thoughts. And I look over at Noah, who sits here next to me, and he squeezes my hand and smiles at me.

When the plane stands still and the doors open, Noah stands up and gives me his hand.

"There are ten warriors outside, and they all know who you are. So you and I will leave the plane first, and Enzo and my uncle Matt will go out with your family." He tells me. I nod my head nervously.

"Don't be nervous, and I will always be next to you." He promises me, and that makes me relax a little.

We walked out of the door and stopped at the top of the stairs, and the warriors outside cheered.

"Welcome home, King Noah. May I say that we are proud to welcome your mate and future Queen."

"Thank you everyone. You will all be properly introduced to Madeleine when the time is right. Right now, we want to get home, and it has been a long flight, and for one of our passengers, it has been a rough journey." Noah tells them.

"Of course, your highness, the cars are ready. And I know your mother is waiting for you." The warrior says, and Noah leads me down the stairs and over to the

cars.

When everyone got into the cars, they started driving, and I remember driving with Dad when we were here for the ball. And I remember feeling so mesmerized by the forest and the vast mountains.

"When I was here last time, I fell in love with the forest and mountains," I tell him softly, and he smiles at me.

"That night for the ball, when everyone was beginning to get back, I sneaked out without Dad found out. I found a big waterfall, and It was so beautiful." I say and smile.

"I know, I saw you. I was on the top of the waterfall and was watching you, making sure you were safe." He tells me, and it warms my heart, but I am also surprised.

"You saw me go in the water?" I whisper, and he nods with a small smile that makes me blush.

"Yes, I did, Sorry. But if it is any consolation, I was busy trying to figure out if it was bits of a matebond I felt from you." He says, and I smile again.

I wanted to say something more, but we were driving into the their town. I was just as amazed as I was last time to see a whole village of only werewolves. The cars didn't drive up in front of the castle. But to a few excluded houses and I looked out, I had not seen this last time we were here.

The cars stopped, and Noah stepped out before helping me. When I got out, I looked around until I noticed her, the queen, and I looked

like crap. But she just smiled and came over to us. First, she hugged Noah and then surprised me by hugging me.

"Finally, I hope you all had a safe trip. And Welcome to the royal blood moon pack

and our home." She says as she smiles.

"Thank you," I say, still a bit shocked. But she has gone to greet my family welcome.

"We have an empty house here at our private residence area, so I have made that ready for you all. And you can use it as your own until Alpha Louis joins you, and you go to the new pack." She tells Mom, and Mom bows her head.

"Thank you, your highness. It's a beautiful house." Mom answered with a small smile.

“Please, all of you, call me Oliva or Liv. You are all family now. And I know this is smaller than a packhouse, that I'm sure you are

used to. The king and I bought this

little corner, to us selves and those closest to us, to have privacy in a pack this big." Olivia explained. noveldrama

"Oh, it is beautiful, and I love the idea behind it." Mom said and smiled.

"Logan briefed me about your daughter, and I have made sure our doctor came and checked her," Olivia says, and Mom thanks her gratefully. Olivia ordered the warriors to carry any baggage we had with us.

"I know you lost a lot, so I talked to Louis, and per his advice, I put some clothes and other stuff for you all in there. It is in the rooms, with names on." Olivia says and shows us into the house, and I am amazed by how homey it feels.

"It is all too much, thank you," Mom says, and the queen surprises us by hugging her.

"It is not enough. You have all been through a lot, and sometimes we all need a little help." Olivia says softly. And I hear Mom thanking her again.
