Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

The room was filled with the unmistakable scent of Leo's unfortunate night, but Anya didn't bat an eye. She tidied up, fetched a damp cloth to gently wipe his mouth, and set a glass of warm water nearby. She gave Leo a soft nudge, "Come on, Chad, sip some water."

Leo barely stirred, so Anya grabbed her water bottle with a straw, popped it into the glass, and coaxed it to his lips, "Just a little sip, please."

Feeling miserable, Leo turned slightly and managed a few sips.

Throughout the night, he had several more bouts of sickness, and Anya patiently cleaned up each time. "Ms. Anya, just lie down next to me and get some sleep. Don't worry about the mess; I'll handle it when

"Chad, stop fussing and just rest," she reassured him.

Leo clung to his girlfriend's hand, reluctant to let go. He felt incredibly lucky to have Anya by his side during times like these. Life without her seemed unimaginable.

"Let's get some sleep. Come lie down beside me."

Concerned, Anya settled next to his bed and soon drifted into a light sleep.

As Leo's stomach settled, his mind cleared.

He quietly got up to tuck a blanket around Anya, then slipped into the bathroom to freshen up. After a quick and quiet shower, he returned, avoiding the hairdryer not to wake her. He towel-dried his hair, scooped up his sleeping girlfriend, and settled her comfortably under the covers. With the bathroom cleaned up, Leo sat at his desk, using a piece of paper as a makeshift fan to dry his hair before crawling back into bed, shirtless, to snuggle with Anya.

By the next morning, the sun was high in the sky.

The curtains left open from the previous night let in a bit too much light.

Anya jumped out of bed, "Chad, I'll make you some hot water."

Leo nodded, wincing slightly, and Anya tossed him a pair of pajamas. While waiting for the kettle, she peeked into the kitchen fridge to see what was available.

"Isn't that..." One of Leo's roommates spotted Anya emerging from his room, hair tousled, clearly having spent the night.

Anya turned, "Chad was drunk last night, so I stayed to take care of him. Whose eggs are in the fridge?" Tony replied, "Mine, but go ahead."

Anya nodded, "Thanks, I'll replace them later."

With eggs in hand, she whipped up a quick egg soup and returned to the bedroom. Leo, still feeling the aftereffects, listened to his friends' voice notes about their fun night and their current hangovers.
