Chapter 1083
Leo: "Are my grandparents talking about me again?"
"Naomi said you're unreliable."
"Dad thinks your character is questionable."
Leo: "I knew it! Can you both vouch for Ms. Anya at home? She's got such a soft heart and gets swayed by what people say. I'm really worried she might cave in." Especially with my little brother already grabbing all her attention.
Being good friends, Mia and Molly headed out once more.
Later that evening, Chad came home to find out Anya was planning to move out. Knowing the elders
might feel lonely, he said, "Molly and I will make sure to visit Dad more often."
Hansen, still upset, replied, "No! If you're coming back, come alone. Don't bring the whole clan."noveldrama
Officer Chad glanced at his wife, "Did you upset Dad again?"
Molly chimed in, "Well, it's not my fault Dad's so easily ruffled."
Chad learned that the twins had spent the day at home working on their dissertations with Andre's help. He went to check on his wife. "Andre, are Molly's issues serious?"
"The big issues have been sorted. I've been helping them wrap everything up over the past few days." Chad settled in front of Andre's desk, "I was hoping you'd lend a hand with this."
Both knew that Mia was prepping for exams, and Molly was expecting in April. Mia could manage, but
Molly couldn't handle the stress of endless revisions and meetings with her advisor.
So, Andre decided to stay close, making sure their drafts were finalized in one go to avoid any hassle.
Of course, he had his reasons. Once his sister finished her draft, Mia would be his only focus, and seeing his wife struggle alone with her assignments would break his heart.
The next day, the sisters returned to the conference room, while Anya took Henry out for some fresh air.
Leo glanced at the little sweetheart being brought over. Towering at over six feet, he looked down at his little brother, who was barely 32 inches tall, "Why'd you bring him here? The brothers exchanged looks, with Henry craning his neck to see him.
"He's just too cute."
Leo: ""
As the trio stepped out, everyone noticed, "Wow, Leo, I almost mistook you guys for a family of three. Your little brother's here again, let me hold him, he's adorable."
Leo protectively held his sweetie, "My brother's picky; he doesn't like strangers holding him."
Tony showed up, looking cheerful, "Leo, when are you free? I'd love to treat you all to a meal."
Leo: "How about tomorrow? We've been roommates for ages and we've got a great bond, but we've never had a meal together. Let's do lunch tomorrow."
Without the distraction of little ones, the sisters were far more productive. They knocked out two major sections in one day.
After finishing the conclusion, they felt like they'd conquered a mountain, slumping back in their chairs, eager to present their work to their professors for some well-earned praise the next day.
Molly's chair was padded with a thick cushion, and there was a soft cushion at her back. Naomi had brought Lover, worrying she might get uncomfortable sitting too long. Mia didn't need one; if she got restless, she'd just stand up and bounce around.
At five in the afternoon, Andre wrapped up his review, "Go print it out in my study."
Feeling accomplished, the sisters grabbed their laptops and dashed off.
Back in the living room, Henry, after his day out, returned home.
Hansen noticed his grandson, "Hey, you weren't wearing that outfit when you left this morning."
Henry was the first in the family to visit his brother's new place.
That day, except for a frantic moment when he needed the bathroom and ended up crying-his brother mistook it for hunger and tried to feed him formula, leading to not only wetting his pants but also his brother's hoodie! Despite that, he had a fantastic day!
